China's viral EVs, in real life.
Xiaomi, NIO, Li Auto, Zeekr, BYD — the EVs flooding your feed exist on Shanghai streets, and you can sit in every one of them in a single afternoon. Test rides come with every package; go Ultra and it becomes a true test drive. We line up the cars, translate everything, and handle the paperwork that puts you behind the wheel. Shanghai only, for now.
Shanghai onlySix cars. Every one has a moment.
Each car is one ~40-minute stop — a full walkaround, time in the cabin, and a test ride (or a test drive on Ultra), with your host translating specs and stories live.
Xiaomi SU7The car your feed won't stop talking about
The sedan MKBHD called "a $42,000 car that feels like $75,000." Sit in it, ride in it, feel the launch.
Xiaomi YU7289,000 pre-orders in one hour
The SUV that broke the internet twice — once for its looks, once for its order numbers. Seen back to back with the SU7.
Zeekr 007"Western automakers are cooked"
The sedan behind that famous reviewer quote — 900V charging and a light-bar face you'll recognize from the videos.
BYD SealThe brand that outsold Tesla
The world's best-selling EV maker's sports sedan — cell-to-body battery tech you can actually feel in the corners.
NIO ET5A full battery in about 3 minutes
Ride the ET5, then watch a NIO swap its entire battery pack faster than a coffee run — infrastructure that exists nowhere else at this scale.
Li Auto L9The living room on wheels
Fridge, cinema screen, reclining seats. The family SUV that redefined what the back row of a car is for.
We plan the route
We arrange the cars around central Shanghai and string the stops into one smooth route — no wasted travel time.
You experience each car
About 40 minutes per car: full walkaround, cabin time, and a test ride — or a test drive on Ultra — with the specs and stories translated live by your host.
You keep the moments
Launch-mode acceleration, a 3-minute battery swap, hands-off city driving — your host helps you capture all of it on camera.
Priced by the car, not the brand.
Every package counts cars — two cars from the same brand are still two cars, two rides (or drives), two stories to bring home. Test rides come standard; Ultra turns them into test drives.
The default lineup: Starter covers the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7; Signature and Ultra add the NIO ET5 and Li Auto L9. Want the Zeekr 007 or BYD Seal instead? Swap either into any package when you book.

Ultra
$299per person
Half day · 4 cars · you drive
You take the wheel — we handle the paperwork.
Same four cars as Signature — but you drive, legally.
- Everything in Signature
- Temporary Chinese driving permit assistance
- Permit paperwork prepared before you land
- Drive the cars yourself, legally
- Hotel pickup & drop-off included
Driving yourself requires a temporary Chinese driving permit — foreign licenses and International Driving Permits aren't valid in China. Ultra includes the full permit process, handled by us.
What to prepare (Ultra only):
- Passport with a valid visa or entry stamp
- Your original driving license — the physical card, not a copy or photo
- One white-background ID photo (we can take it on site)
- A certified Chinese translation of your license — we arrange this for you
How the schedule works:
- Book Ultra at least 48 hours ahead and send us photos of your passport and license — we prepare the translation before you land
- The permit is issued in person: easiest at the Shanghai airport counter on your arrival day (under an hour), or at a downtown vehicle administration office if you're already in the city
- You drive the next day or later — rested, with zero paperwork between you and the cars
Short stay? A same-day plan (permit in the morning, drive in the afternoon) is possible — we'll build in buffer time, since permit delays would compress your drive.
The questions everyone asks first.
Ready when you are.
Send us your dates on WhatsApp or WeChat. We confirm availability within a few hours — and answer any question before you pay anything.
