Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 12, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to trisAino ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at trisaino.com, use our mobile application, or otherwise use our services, including the Planner, Guide, Concierge, Originals by trisAino, and China Health Gateway (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Site or use our Services.
Information We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our Services. The categories of information we collect are outlined below.
Personal Data
When you register for an account or interact with our Services, we may collect personally identifiable information ("Personal Data") that you voluntarily provide to us. This includes your name, email address, and account credentials. When you use the Planner, we also collect travel-related information such as your preferred destinations, travel dates, group size, interests, and other preferences you provide to generate your personalized itinerary.
Payment Information
If you purchase digital products (such as Guide) or human-assisted services (such as Concierge), we collect information necessary to process your payment. This may include your billing address and transaction details. Please note that we do not store your full credit card numbers; all payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), whose use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies. Purchases made inside our iOS application are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase; we receive a record of the transaction and the entitlement it grants, but never your payment card details.
Communication Data
If you use our Concierge service, we will collect and store the communications exchanged between you and our concierge team via third-party messaging applications (such as WhatsApp or WeChat). This data is collected solely for the purpose of delivering the requested travel assistance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
Health-Related Information (China Health Gateway)
If you submit a China Health Gateway request, we collect only the minimum information needed to coordinate your visit: the type of care you are looking for, your travel window, your email address, and — optionally — your first name, your insurer's name, and a short note. We also record the session and device identifiers of the browser you submitted from and, where they are present, the campaign parameters and the external page that referred you. If you are signed in when you submit the form, the request is linked to your trisAino account. Because the type of care you request may reveal health-related information, we process this data only on the basis of the separate, explicit consent you give when submitting the form, and we share it solely with the partner hospital (United Family Healthcare) for the purpose of coordinating your request. We do not share it with advertising or analytics providers.
We deliberately do not ask for — and ask you not to submit — symptoms, diagnoses, medical records, test results, passport details, or policy numbers, and the form does not accept file uploads. The partner hospital collects any medical information it needs from you directly and securely. Your request is stored in our application database so that we can follow up with you, and it is also sent to our coordination team by email and internal notification; a confirmation email is sent to the address you provided. We keep China Health Gateway requests indefinitely — we have not set a deletion date for them — so that we can handle follow-up and repeat requests, resolve disputes, and demonstrate the consent you gave. You can withdraw your consent and have a request erased at any time by emailing info@trisaino.com; if you are signed in, deleting your trisAino account also erases every China Health Gateway request linked to it.
Journey Availability Requests
If you request availability for a journey, we collect the travel details you provide, including your preferred season or dates, group size, room requirements, email address and any optional name or notes. We also record the session and device identifiers of the browser you submitted from and, where present, campaign parameters and the external page that referred you. If you are signed in, the request is linked to your trisAino account.
We store the request in our application database, send it to our coordination team by email and internal notification, and share the details with the licensed local operating partner solely to check availability and prepare a proposal. We send a confirmation email to the address you provide. These requests follow our general retention policy below. You may ask us to erase a request by emailing info@trisaino.com; deleting your account also erases journey requests linked to it.
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services ("Usage Data"). This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include your device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time and date of your visit, time spent on each page, IP address, and other diagnostic data. This data helps us understand how our Services are used and enables us to improve the user experience.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to monitor activity on our Service and store certain information. Our cookie usage falls into four categories:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|
| Essential Cookies | Required for the basic functionality of the website, such as maintaining your session, processing payments, and security features. | No — these are strictly necessary. |
| Analytics Cookies | Help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. | Yes — set only after your consent. |
| Advertising Cookies | Used by Google Ads to measure conversions (such as sign-ups, form submissions, and purchases) and to attribute those actions to ads you may have seen or clicked. If you consent, Google may also use these cookies for advertising personalization. | Yes — set only after your consent. |
| Affiliate Tracking Cookies | Used to track referrals when you click on affiliate links (e.g., RedTea eSIM) so that we may earn a commission for the referral. | Yes — set only after your consent. |
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the "Cookie preferences" option available on our website. You may also instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Services, including generating personalized travel itineraries, delivering digital guides, and providing Concierge support.
- To process your transactions and manage your purchases.
- To create and manage your account, enabling you to access features that require authentication.
- To communicate with you, including sending account-related notifications, purchase receipts, and responding to your inquiries.
- To analyze and improve our Services, by monitoring usage patterns and trends to enhance functionality and the overall user experience.
- To measure advertising performance, by recording conversions (account registration, itinerary form submission, and purchases) and attributing them to Google Ads campaigns when you have consented to advertising cookies.
- To ensure security, by detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, and other potentially harmful activities.
Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Data to third parties for their commercial purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers. We may engage trusted third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, process payments, perform service-related functions, or assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- Advertising Partners. If you consent to advertising cookies, we share conversion and measurement signals with Google (Google Ads) so we can measure ad performance and, where permitted, show more relevant ads. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. We do not send your email address or other directly identifying personal data to Google Ads in this process.
- Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, or protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public.
Data Security
We implement appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Retention
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security or improve the functionality of our Service. China Health Gateway requests are an exception to the above: as described in the "Health-Related Information" section, we keep them indefinitely rather than for a defined period, and they are erased on request or when you delete your account.
Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access and Portability. You have the right to request copies of your personal data and to receive it in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
- Correction. You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete. You can update your account information at any time by logging into your account settings.
- Deletion. You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions. You can delete your account yourself at any time — in our mobile application, open the menu, tap My Account, then Delete Account.
- Restriction and Objection. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data or to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- Withdraw Consent. Where we rely on your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This includes the ability to withdraw consent for analytics, advertising, and affiliate cookies through our cookie preferences manager.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the "Contact Us" section on our website. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
Account Deletion
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved itineraries, chat history, travel preferences, and any China Health Gateway or journey availability requests linked to your account from our production systems. Analytics and backup copies are purged within 30 days. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, and any unused purchases are forfeited and cannot be restored or refunded.
Two categories of data are retained after deletion. Records of completed transactions are kept for financial, tax, and refund-handling purposes, with your name and email address removed so they can no longer be linked to you. Administrative audit logs are likewise retained as a compliance and fraud-prevention record; they reference only an internal identifier that no longer resolves to any individual once the account is gone.
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Third-Party Links
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
