Why this trip

Local expertise, with every detail checked before you travel.

01

Locally operated

Operated by a licensed Xinjiang-based travel partner. Before preparing your proposal, trisAino asks the local team to verify the route, accommodation, activities and realistic daily timing for your dates.

02

Season-led routes

Each season offers a different Xinjiang landscape: wildflower valleys and glacier country in summer; snow-covered villages, taiga forest and winter pasture around Altay. Your dates determine which route can be proposed, subject to current access and accommodation availability.

03

Small private groups

Each journey is designed for your own party of two to six guests. The private format gives the operating team more flexibility to adjust the day around weather, photography stops and your group’s comfort.

04

Photography support

An English- and Chinese-speaking photographer-guide accompanies the journey where confirmed in your proposal. Your proposal will state whether portraits, edited images, drone footage or file delivery are included.

Summer

Ili valleys and Tianshan mountain country

The journey combines scenic drives and photography stops with a locally guided horseback route through the high pastures. A visit to a seasonal Kazakh herding camp is included only when confirmed in your proposal.

Winter

Altay villages, taiga forest and winter pasture

Winter travels from Altay through Hemu, Kanas and Baihaba, with space for winter village landscapes, taiga forest, open pasture and the changing blue-and-gold light that shapes the region’s photographic atmosphere.

Winter routes are shaped by snowfall, road access and limited daylight. The operating partner will confirm a feasible route, realistic daily timing and any alternatives before issuing the proposal.
